THE VICTORIA LOUNGE

Previously known as The Fleece and then renamed The Moon and Sixpence, we purchased the pub in 2015 and The Victoria Lounge was born. Our aim was to provide a new welcoming atmosphere, where football was banned, and individuals come and relax over pint or glass of wine. Offering a selection of over 40 Gins and focusing on homemade food, we have had the privilege to work with a wide range of amazing chefs.

Fast forward to 2022, we are now in a new world with new opportunities. With the incredible support from customers, ordering takeaways during lockdown we have been lucky enough to keep the wolf away from the door and continue working in a pub we love.

So, a new chapter begins for The Victoria Lounge, where we start our journey to become a carbon neutral business. From May 2022 we are reinventing the way we cook our food. With a new wood fire oven, in an open plan kitchen, food will now be prepared and cooked right in front of our customers.

Making these changes we will reduce our fossil fuel consumption by 84% and a reduce our non-recyclable waste by more than 50%.
